Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?
I wish I would have said yes when he stood in the door

In a while crocodile-
If only I had known that saying
If only I had known anything about life
I re-live and re-dream his face – my face
Before (you know)
A time when I was unblemished
As the years have passed perhaps I have learnt
That it is far better to have hidden my answer
That the door closed between us
That I always have him – as an image – as perfect as I wish to paint it.
